Hexaethyl Tetraphosphate for Control of Mites

Abstract
Statistical data are given to show that hexaethyl tetraphosphate is an effective acaricide. When used as a water spray (1:1600), it gave 98.6% mortality of the 2-spotted mite, Tetranychus bimaculatus, on rose bushes in the field. Two sprays were necessary for control because the spray was not an effective ovicide.
