Abstract

The characteristics of municipal water and sewage treatment (MWST) facilities are described, and some demand side management options are outlined. Electrotechnologies that might prove useful in MWST facilities are discussed. These will be evaluated and demonstrated in a collaborative EPRI project involving member electric utilities.
