Abstract
Evidence is presented for the specific interaction of 6-mercaptopurine with mercurated cellulose. A new method is described for the affinity chromatography of thiol-containing molecules and of RNA [BHK cells-baby hamster kidney] containing incorporated 6-thioguanosine on columns of mercurated cellulose. This technique may find application in the study of RNA metabolism and gene expression. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
