Abstract
An extracellular lipid produced by the yeast NRRL Y-6954 was shown to be free 3-D-hydroxypalmitic acid. The structure of the hydroxy acid was established by the mass spectrum of its methyl ester and a direct comparison with an authentic sample of methyl 3-D-hydroxypalmitate.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
