Abstract

The distal segment of the anterior cerebral arteries was studied in 381 human brains. Arterial anomalies were found in 25% of the brains and could be classified into 3 types: unpaired artery, artery giving forth a branch to the contra-lateral hemisphere, triplicate artery.
