Abstract
In this paper a straightforward high-energy expansion is discussed and applied to the problem of radiation from an extended target. In particular, we discuss bremsstrahlung from an electron-pulse collision. A full quantum treatment of the power spectrum and the average energy loss is given. Scaling laws that smoothly join the quantum regime to the classical limit are derived. Keywords
