Abstract
The success of coronary angiography depends upon appropriate use and administration of contrast media. We used guinea-pig hearts to study tolerance to various contrast media, with particular attention to electrolyte changes. Changes in myocardial subcellular structures appear to correspond to changes in electrolyte flow produced by contrast media. Keywords
