Abstract
A statistical method is presented for graphically determining from the cup plate assay method for penicillin the potency of an unknown and the error of the assay. Four figures ( V, W, R and R[omega]) axe calculated from the diameters of the zones of inhibition given by a high and a low dose of the unknown ( Uh and Ul) and a high and low dose of a standard prepn. (Sh and Sl). The charts are adaptable to any number of plates and any ratio of doses. Keywords
