Abstract
The crystal structure of AgNa(NO2)2 has been determined at 50°C in the paraelectric phase (space group Fddd), and work at 20°C on the ferroelectric phase (space group Fd2d) is in progress. The unit cell contains 8 formula units. The paraelectric structure is partially disordered and each NO2 molecule has two stable positions, of which one is occupied at 50°C about u 70% fraction of NO2 molecule and the other by 30%.Keywords
