Abstract
In a recent paper two algorithms for parameter identification of a linear dynamic system were presented. Both algorithms used a bootstrapping procedure in order to perform the simultaneous estimation/identification of the state/parameters of the system. This paper shows that the two algorithms are unacceptable. One of the algorithms is based on equations which were derived in error from an unsuitable criterion, the other algorithm is also theoretically unsound. Keywords
