Abstract
We reexamine the dipole electric moment of the neutron in supersymmetric theories. We reassess the contributions to from Weinberg's gluonic operator and the color and electric dipole operators, emphasizing the proper evaluation of their QCD correction factors, and see that is a very sensitive probe of these theories. We also give a calculation of the phase that determines in realistic models and conclude that the dominant contribution to is expected to be due to strong (and not weak) -violating effects.
