Abstract
Mutations in the WAF1/CIP1 gene were not found in 36 ovarian carcinomas, including tumours with loss of heterozygosity at the WAF1/CIP1 locus and/or lacking p53 mutations. In addition, no association was demonstrable between a polymorphism in a conserved region of the WAF1/CIP1 gene and ovarian carcinoma. Keywords
