Abstract
The data of 201 patients with ruptured intracranial aneurysms were reported. In 49 cases (24.6%) fundal hemorrhages (FH) were found uni- or bilaterally. FH were classified according to their sites and shapes. The presence of FH indicated a bad prognosis in patients with SAH [subarachnoid hemorrhage]. This is why FH should always be regarded as an additional risk factor. The development of FH which accompanies SAH was discussed. Keywords
