Abstract
The magnetoresistivity of a magnetic-breakdown linked-orbit network with one-dimensional topology is calculated for the case of a stochastic distribution of defects in the network. We consider the case of a perfectly periodic network, as well as bimodal and rectangular distributions of defects. The results show an extremely pathological dependence on the defect distribution which is characteristic of the one-dimensional topology. Keywords
