Abstract
Applying TE/TM decomposition of the problem, the exact image theory, previously derived for problems involving isotropic half-spaces is extended to allow uniaxial anisotropy for one of the half-spaces with an axis perpendicular to the planar interface. The image functions are seen to be generalizations of the isotropic case. As an application, image functions corresponding to sea-ice parameters, calculated from a mixing formula, are presented. Keywords
