A Handy Instrument for Oculo-Sphygmography with Some Clinical Results

Abstract
A piezo-electrical instru-ment for recording the pressure pulse wave of the human eye is described. The method is very handy to use, and an examination of both eyes can be carried out in a few minutes and without any discomfort to the subject. Excellent records are obtained. Hitherto, the method has been applied to 95 patients, and has proved to be of great help in diagnosing occlusions of the carotid artery.
