Abstract
The low-temperature luminescence spectrum of anthracene crystal has been considered as a result of resonant Raman scattering of polaritons by acoustic and optical phonons. The probabilities of resonant Raman scattering processes has been estimated from the experimental data. It is shown that the measured spectral dependence of life-time is seen to be in good agreement with the polariton model of luminescence. Keywords
