Abstract
Magnetic configurations with currents parallel to the magnetic field need means for current drive. The concepts of transport of helicity are found useful for considering methods for current drive. The paper describes a formalism for considering transport of helicity, methods of injection of helicity, and specific examples of arrangements for current drive. Keywords
