Abstract
Two recent theories describing the behaviour of the electrical resistivity during Guinier-Preston zone formation of Rossiter and Wells (RW) and Hillel, Edwards and Wilkes (HEW) are compared. It is shown that the HEW theory is a simplification of the RW theory and lacks important terms due to electron scattering at the zone boundaries. Keywords
