Abstract
A total of 9 patients (7 women and 2 men), with degenerative osteoarthritis of the hip joint, all of whom suffered from pain, were treated by fenestration of the greater trochanter. Intraosseous pressure in the femoral head and the neck was measured before and immediately after the fenestration procedure. A small but significant drop in the intraosseous pressure was found at both sites of measurement as a result of the fenestration procedure. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
