Abstract
Summary: Atherosclerotic lesions induced in non-human primates regress after the stimulus is removed. That some human lesions also regress is strongly suggested by several types of evidence. The general course of human atherosclerosis is progressive, and the impact of current regimens on the rate of progression is uncertain.Keywords
