Abstract
Dogs fed with decahydronaphthalene excreted 30% as decahydronaphthol while the greater portion was destroyed. Tetrahydronaphthalene was excreted probably as a mixture of di- and tetrahydronaphthol. Decahydro-[beta]-naphthol was recovered (33%) unchanged, the remainder destroyed. 50% of [alpha]-decahydronaphthoic acid was recovered unchanged but only 16% of the [beta]-acid could be detected in urine. These compounds were not stored, and when excreted were not conjugated with glucuronic acid.
