Abstract

The Instruction Unit (I unit) was developed as the largest portion and the major control unit of the large-scale, high-performance Stretch computer. This computer is the central processing unit of the Stretch system contracted for development and delivery to the Atomic Energy Commission for their Scientific Laboratories in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
