Abstract
The critical temperature of the q-state ferromagnetic Potts model on a hypercubic lattice in d dimensions is expressed as an explicit function of both d and q. The author's formula agrees very well with the existing accurate results and numerous numerical studies for particular values of d and q, and it seems to be an excellent approximation for all d and q.Keywords
