Intramural intestinal haemorrhage: a complication of anticoagulant therapy

Abstract

Summary: The history is presented of a patient on long term anticoagulant therapy who developed signs of intestinal obstruction due to haematoma in the small bowel. The difficulties of diagnosis and management are considered, and relevant publications reviewed.
