Abstract
The spectra of some diatomic molecules are analyzed in terms of a SUq(2) symmetry. Particular emphasis is put on those molecules with relatively high values of Dn and Hn. The excellent agreement found between the observed and calculated wave numbers can be seen as an indication that an up to now hidden symmetry SUq(2) is present. Keywords
