Abstract
In this paper we investigate the relation between the observed mass levels of baryons and mesons as well as the resonance levels in pion-nucleon and kaon-nucleon reactions and the various configurations of particle states derived from Ikeda-Ogawa-Ohnuki's symmetry theory which is based on Sakata's composite particle model. It is found that there is a close correspondence between the theoretical levels and the experimental evidence. Keywords
