Abstract
This paper describes an optimization method to determine economic load dispatching and also the optimum mix ratio of high-and low-sulfur fuels (fuel mix), when a constraint is imposed on total sulfur dioxide emission per hour. The Coupling Method has been proposed for this purpose. And the Decoupling Method is considered for application to online control. Keywords
