Helium transport in TFTR

Abstract
Initial measurements of the 15 MeV protons produced in TFTR by the d(3He, p)α fusion reaction have been used to determine the time evolution of the central 3He density. The signals following short 3He gas puffs indicate inward transport times of about 100 ms.Keywords
