Abstract
Multiple motor innervation of muscle fibers is supported by the observation that muscle fibers of the triceps, which normally are innervated solely by the radial nerve, received in 3 cases additional innervation via regenerating motor axons from the stump of the severed ulnar nerve. That these connections were functional was shown by muscle response to electrical stimulation of these fibers. Keywords
