Abstract
This paper presents the results of calculations of energy deposition in microvolumes. The ionizing particles are the secondaries emitted in the nulcear reactions of high energy protons (100-1000 MeV). The calculations are based on an extension of the formalism developed by/for radiobiological microdosimetry. The results are presented in a format which permits interpretation in terms of the soft error problem. Keywords
