Abstract
A 33-year-old man with untreated hypertension had sudden onset of signs and symptoms suggestive of a dorsal lateral medullary syndrome. He died after 27 days. Postmortem studies revealed intramedullary hemorrhage with extension into the fourth ventricle and hypertensive cardiovascular disease.Keywords
