Abstract
A project designed to study patients’ reactions to surgery that despite surgeons’ best efforts was not successful found transformations in self-understanding of the surgeons if they continued to see such patients on a regular basis after postoperative care. Particular elements of emotional healing and possible machanisms for change seen in surgeons and patients seem relevant to the psychotherapy situation too. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
