Abstract
Gas-solid adsorption was experimentally investigated at 25°C for the title systems, which all exhibit isotherms of type IV with a hysteresis loop. The B.D.D.T. equation was employed for the treatment of the experimental data, and the values obtained for its four constants have been discussed and compared with values derived by independent methods. In particular, for C6H6—γ-Al2O3 a good agreement was found between the calculated value of the interaction energy in monolayer and calorimetric data.Keywords
