Abstract
Analyzing the recent experimental data of Shimoura et al., we show that the dissociation energy spectrum of an intermediate energy Li11 nucleus, interacting with a very heavy target, is well reproduced by a direct Coulomb breakup mechanism, provided that in the data the n-n relative energy is subtracted from the dissociation energy. © 1996 The American Physical Society. Keywords
