TURBULENT FLOW AND HEAT TRANSFER IN HORIZONTAL TUBES WITH SUBSTANTIAL INFLUENCE OF THERMOGRAVITATIONAL FORCES

Abstract
The analytic estimations of the boundaries and the character of the origin of the influence of thermogravitational forces on a turbulent forced flow and local heat transfer in horizontal tubes are given. The results of experimental investigation of the local heat transfer, the fields of average velocity and temperature in a turbulent air flow in a horizontal tube under considerable influence of thermogravitational forces are presented.
