Abstract
Two intermediate-coupling groups valid for both the nucleon and the hyperon isobars are suggested. For the nucleon isobars these reduce to the group . Predictions of these groups for the hyperon coupling-constant ratios and magnetic moments are obtained. It is found that, in general, the results are consistent with the static theory.
