Abstract
Discusses difficulties in concept that no two spp. with similar ecology can live together in the same place. Actually, Gause drew no general conclusion from his laboratory expts. and made no statement that resembles any wording of the hypothesis which bears his name. However, in a population of a sp. mechanisms which reduce competition between it and populations of other spp. tend to persist. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
