Abstract
Long range dispersal of the larch bud moth (Zeiraphera diniana Gn., Tortricidae). During the present outbreak in the subalpine larchforests exodus‐, transit‐flight and mass‐immigration of the larch bud moth in the aera of the lake of Constanze was observed by a network of light‐ and pheromone traps in 1973. The weather conditions favoring migration were characterized by indifferent barometric pressure over central Europe with a light southern wind (Föhn). The immigrant population increases the density of resident population in the aera of latent fluctuation significantly. Keywords
