Abstract
Summary: A controlled double‐blind trial of the prophylactic use of bromelains (Ananase) in elective plastic vaginal surgery has been carried out. In none of the recorded criteria did the placebo group show advantages over the bromelain group, and in many of the criteria the bromelain group seemed rather superior to the control group; in no instance, however, did this reach statistical significance. Keywords
