Dielectric constants of aqueous solutions of dextrose and sucrose

Abstract
Dielectric constants of aqueous solns. of dextrose and of sucrose prepared from N.B.S. standard samples were determined at 20, 25, and 30[degree]C for concns. up to 50 and 60% by wt., respectively. A bridge method was used, and the sources of error involved are considered. The results, relative to a selected value for water, are accurate to 0.05% percent or better and are expressed in terms of an empirical equation for the purposes of interpolation.
