Electrocardiographic Findings in Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis: A study of 116 cases

Abstract
Summary Electrocardiographic studies were performed in 116 patients with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (70 children and 46 adults). The tracings were considered pathological in 15 per cent of cases. The changes included flat or negative T waves, premature beats, prolongation of the A-V conduction time, and shortening or prolongation of the Q-T interval. In addition to these changes, 12 patients showed sinus tachycardia and 8 patients showed incomplete right bundle branch block.
