Abstract
Female Wistar rats on DCA-overdosage and flooded with 2% KC1 soln. did not develop cardiac hypertrophy and adrenal glomerular zone atrophy observed in rats not receiving KC1. KCl-flooded rats, with no DCA, showed decreased cardiac mass, renal hypertrophy and adrenal glomerular zone hypertrophy. KC1 flooding did not alter the renal hypertrophy observed in DCA-overdosed rats not treated with KCl.Keywords
