Abstract
The addition of "BrF", using N-bromoamides in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, to a number of aliphatic alkenes has been studied. As expected, the bromine atom in the resultant vicinal fluorobromides exhibited relatively low reactivity in nucleophilic and hydrogenolytic reactions.Keywords
