Abstract
Arrays of simple rings on close packed square or triangular lattices are useful frequency selective surfaces for reflector antennas. Reflection bandwidths of about 26 per cent and transmission/reflection band ratios of 3:1 are readily attainable for angles of incidence of up to 45° at least. Experimental transmission coefficients are compared with the results of modal computations. Keywords
