Abstract
It is shown that if in the scattering by inhomogeneities in a disordered medium two types of waves interact with velocities c and v satisfying the condition c≫v, then the damping factor of a fast wave obeys the relationship γ(k)∼S′(k), where S′(k) is the spectral density of these inhomogeneities. This makes possible the development of methods for determining the form of S(k) and, consequently, that of the correlation function K(r).Keywords
