Abstract
The separated structure functions for large-momentum-transfer electron-nucleus scattering in the quasielastic region can be fitted by assuming that the effect of nuclear matter on nucleon structure is to increase the nucleon charge radius some 30%, and to quench the anomalous moments. These effects are consistent with a field-theoretic description of nucleon and nuclear structure. Keywords
