Abstract
A simple and effective bedside method was presented for transvenous intracardiac pacing in urgent clinical situations when fluoroscopic equipment is not available. The method permitted intracardiac electrode placement using the intracavitary ecg picked up by the pacemaker electrode as a guide. Successful placement of the electrode was achieved by this method in 21 of 27 critically ill patients with repetitive Adams-Stokes attacks. Keywords
