Abstract
The flat, triangular 3,4,5-tris-(p-n-dodecyloxybenzyloxy) benzoyloxy group (DOBOB) grafted onto a variety of rod, disc or cone-shaped molecules is shown to yield mesomorphic materials.Keywords
