Abstract
Research on the prevalence, patterns, and course of Substance use disorders in severe mental illness gives key insights into the complex interaction of Substance use and mental disorder. Understanding the literature on comorbidity has implications for the design of clinical services and for the direction of future research in the field.Keywords
